  My wife and I eat at the Clock of Laurens at least once a week now for more than 15 years. I have read all the reviews here and can say that the people posting negative comments are either mistaken about what restaurant they ate at or they have some other reason for making negative comments, such as they own a restaurant themselves and are trying to run down their competition. I have never seen anything unclean here, nor any bugs of any kind. I have met and spoken with the owner, I often see the manager who always seems to be involved and concerned about the experience, I know at least one of the cooks and several of the waitresses have been there for years and always are concerned about how our meal is. There are menu items that I don't like, but that is my personal preference, not a problem with the food. If you read all the reviews, you will see that the majority are positive, and the few that are negative are over the top,(really? hair and roaches at the same time?) which to my mind indicates that they are not sincere. I recently had the manager, who has been there at least 5 years, give me a coupon for $5.00 off my next meal, just because "I see y'all come in a lot, let me give you this" We did not complain, he just decided to do it because he recognized us. The Clock of Laurens is a consistent, reliable place for good service, good food and good prices all the time. I have eaten there over 700 times in the past 15 years and have never had a bad experience!
